SKILLING FOR LIVELIHOODS : Youth Conclave
Sanyojan-12 is part of series of Youth Conclaves organized by Foresight Society & F-TEC Skill Development. The idea of organizing youth conclave on Skilling for Livelihoods came with the need of counseling about skilling programs and awareness among youth about Skill India Mission. Sanyojan 12 was organized at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi on July 26th, 2018.
The theme of the event and its objectives were: –

PLACEMENT – LINKING TO LIVELIHOODS OPPORTUNITIES
Bringing Corporates at the venue of the Youth Conclave for the final round of placement. A fortnightly campaign was taken up to shortlist candidates and two rounds of interview were conducted before the event. A total of more than 400 candidates appeared for a final interview at the venue of Youth Conclave & 42 candidates selected for the final due diligence.
MUDRA LOAN FOR LIVELIHOODS AT GRASS-ROOT LEVEL
Candidates trained specially in the area of Beauty and Apparel and who are planning to set-up a small unit in their respective domain were mobilized.
SKILL EXHIBITION FAIR
This allowed candidates to showcase their products & skills as well as highlighted the impact ‘of outcome-based learning’ under National Skill Qualification Framework which was evident from the quality of products showcased at the exhibition.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Various performances were organized by students from various F-TEC Centres conveying a strong social message for EDUCATION OF GIRLS & AN EMPOWERED NATION making us proud Indians. These talented students were acknowledged by the judges for all their performances.
