Overview of Automotive Sector

The Indian auto industry is one of the largest in the world and the goal is to establish India as an auto manufacturing hub. The Indian automotive sector has the potential to generate up to US$ 300 billion in annual revenue by 2026, create 65 million additional jobs and contribute over 12 per cent to India’s Gross Domestic Product. There is a huge demand of skilled professionals in the complete value chain of industry composition like passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three wheelers, two wheelers and more.

Career in Automotive Sector

A professional in this sector will be responsible for assisting and supporting sales function through telemarketing, activities such as generating sales prospects or leads through telemarketing, customer experience at the dealership showroom and supporting in their follow-ups. The CRE is also responsible for supporting the service function through follow-up calls for after-sales service.
